This week, Capcom revealed a showcase focused on their new upcoming game Dragon's Dogma II. We took a close look at the showcase, and give our reactions to everything revealed. Dragon's Dogma II is the sequel to 2012's Dragon's Dogma; however, it takes place in a "parallel world" and so seemingly makes it uneccessary to play the first game to enjoy the second. Dragon's Dogma II is slated to release on March 22, 2024, and will be Capcom's first forray into the $70 price point for one of their titles.
We also discuss the games we've been playing this week. Mike completes The Last Faith, and Cocoon, and also begins gameplay on Super Mario Bros Wonder, and Super Mario RPG Remake. Kim puts Redfall on pause until some issues are sorted out, completes Control, and begins Control's DLC "The Foundation", continues playing Inscryption, and heats things up with the racey Flipwitch. Johnny beats Bramble: The Mountain King, and continues his never ending journey through Final Fantasy XVI.
